'Glee': Kurt and Karofsky take the crowns in 'Prom Queen'

I was looking through an image search on Google and found this article that came out right after “Prom Queen.” The author makes several observations about Kurt and Blaine’s relationship that was foreshadowing of seasons 3 & 4.

I also think that RIB intended for this to be the last we saw of Dave Karofsky. He was about to be the king, wasn’t good enough, and ran away. I think this represented how they were going to have Dave be Kurt’s boyfriend (remember Ryan said Kurt and his boyfriend would be prom kings) but he wasn’t the image that several key Glee supporters wanted, so Blaine was brought in to “be the substitute king.” That’s why they showed Blaine saying, “May I have this dance?”

The author of this article, however, points out that several aspects of Kurt and Blaine’s relationship is troubling, and is unable to forget about the state Dave is in as he runs away. The author wants to know what happened to Dave afterwards. (The author had been a big supporter of Klaine, but now is not so sure.) Many of the readers’ comments are supportive of Kurtofsky as well.

After this is when Glee lost the wheel and drove off the side of the road into a ditch. And they’re still there.
